Once, I was working on an AJAX-driven Category Editor, and everything went good, until I opened the editor in Internet Explorer (No offense Microsoft ). No errors, no warnings, nothing. Everything was working good (as the browser was telling me), except for editor, that was doing nothing.

I spent then about a half a day debugging my application, no answers on the internet, I didn't even know where to ask for help.Finally, accidentally, I found out that if adding dynamic content to an element (DIV in my case) it must have some inner HTML (IE only issue). I added a non-breaking space ( ) to the div just to see what will happen and it worked!
